Propetrol Ltd (Nigeria) \ is a leading international energy solutions provider with offices in Legos, Nigeria and Johannesburg, South Africa. Propetrol’s foundational focus on superior value and service carries forward to its derivative and affiliate companies. Propetrol underwent a name change to Propel Ltd (Nigeria) in 2001.
Propel Ltd (aka Propetrol Ltd Nigeria) was established to address Propetrol’s product expansion and handle large-volume direct fuel trading with refineries. In 2001, Propetrol changed its name to Propel Ltd (Nigeria), its trademarked name under which it trades. Since 2002, the company has conducted business using both names, Propel and/or Propetrol.
Propel Energy Group LLC (USA) operates as a separate energy company in the USA. Propel/Propetrol (Nigeria) and its CEO own the majority share of Propel Energy Group USA. Propel Energy Group is organized to bridge oil and gas endeavors in Africa while also serving global customers. This company focuses on LPG markets while engaging in all oil and gas sectors.
Our Origins
Our company stems from well-established oil industry roots in South Africa and the West African markets. This supportive base enabled our USA launch of oil and gas operations with strong positioning in each industry sector: upstream, midstream, and downstream.

Our Leadership
Insightful senior leadership in our affiliate company, Propetrol Ltd, initiated and catalyzed development for Propel Energy Group, LLC, USA. However, Propel Energy Group’s emergence in the USA brings a new and distinct governing body, which provides strategic oversight in all its affairs.

Propel Energy Group, USA operates as a separate entity in the United States while bridging oil and gas endeavors in Africa. Our service to global markets comes with our commitment to excellence, safety, stewardship, and innovation.

Our Operations
Propel Energy Group's early operations in the United States focus on establishing downstream pursuits in the trade of LPG and other refined fuels. In addition, Propel Energy Group’s preparation for upstream endeavors is now underway. We are also laying the groundwork to launch several midstream ventures.
